Are You Ready to Stand Your Ground, Ladies?

It’s serendipitous. I swear, the planets must have aligned. How else do you explain all these states that have instituted ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws, AND have now made it perfectly legal to carry a gun into a bar?
I mean, karma doesn’t get any better than this, does it ladies?
For you guys who aren’t putting this together yet, let me explain. You have NO IDEA what fear and intimidation is: there’s a black kid in your neighborhood? Someone is playing their music too loud? Puh-leeze.
Think about a woman who leaves a bar and some drunk follows her to her car. Or she stays late at work and has to walk to the parking lot alone. Or leaves the mall after dark. You clowns don’t have a clue.
But whatever the situation, our troubles are over, ladies! We’re free to pack heat and stand our ground.
According to Georgia law, I have ‘No duty to retreat prior to use of force in self-defense (from) a person who uses threats or force, in accordance with Code Section 16-3-21.
In Michigan, an individual ‘may use deadly force against another individual anywhere he/she has the legal right to be with no duty to retreat if . . . [t]he individual honestly and reasonably believes that the use of deadly force is necessary to prevent the imminent death, great bodily harm, or sexual assault of himself or another individual.”
Whoa! What? Did that say prevent sexual assault of himself? (Isn’t that just like a man to be more concerned that he might be assaulted by another guy? Let’s just add ‘herself’ to the mix, shall we?)
The bottom line is, if I honestly and reasonably believe a man intends to do me great bodily harm, I have every right to pull out my gun and shoot.
So fellas? The next time you hover too close to me, grab your crotch, and ask if I’d like some of what you got? You better think twice. Cause I’m packin’.
